Will this plug directly into my factory wiring?
Yes — this is OEM spec, so your existing harness connects without adapters or splicing. Power, heating, and signal all feed through the factory connector.
Does the heater work on its own, or do I need to activate it with a switch?
Factory wiring includes a dedicated heating circuit. Check your door panel or steering column for an existing defrost button; if your car has the feature, you're ready to go. If no switch exists on your model, aftermarket controllers are available separately.
What if the power motor or heating element fails after I install it?
This is a used OEM part — function is as-is at time of shipment. Test the power adjustment and heating element before final installation. If either fails immediately, contact ModSupply within the return window to arrange a replacement.
