Do I need to remove my bumper cover to install this?
Yes. The bar bolts on from behind the cover at the factory attachment points. Bumper cover removal takes 10–15 minutes with basic hand tools.
Will this fit if I have aftermarket fog light cutouts or sensor holes in my bumper?
The reinforcement bar mounts independently of your bumper cover. Cutouts and sensor holes in the cover won't affect installation, but test-fit your cover back onto the bar before final tightening to confirm clearance.
What about a lower valance—does this bumper bar sit above or below it?
The reinforcement bar mounts at the upper bumper attachment points. A lower valance (if equipped) hangs below and doesn't interfere with installation. Confirm your specific trim level's configuration before ordering if you're unsure.
