No. This hitch uses the factory mounting points on the H3—you're just bolting it in place. If your mounting points are intact, no frame work is needed.

This is a standard 2-inch receiver hitch. It accepts any 2-inch hitch ball, cargo carrier, or tow accessory rated for that size.
Does this come with a hitch ball or wiring harness?
The assembly includes the receiver itself. Hitch ball, safety chains, and wiring harness are sold separately and allow you to configure it for your specific towing setup.
