Turbosmart
Turbosmart is a world leading manufacturer in performance accessories for forced induction vehicles. Turbosmart engineers, builds and track tests all of the products in-house to make sure that they are continually producing the highest quality blowoff valves, wastegates, boost controllers, gauges, pressure regulators, and hoses for both the track and the street. Turbosmart is the concatenation of two words that symbolizes what we want to achieve as a brand; to make turbo control smarter. We believe that every product that we produce creates a new level of efficient boost control for turbo vehicles, prolonging the life of turbocharged vehicles.
Established in 1997, Turbosmart was built on humble beginnings. Designed with a pure passion for race performance, the very first product, a BOV Type I was produced by hand on a steel lathe, by our CEO & Founder Nic Cooper from a small garage in Sydney, Australia. For many years the company witnessed significant success on a local scene, quickly becoming one of the most prolific names amongst industry professionals as a strong product with reliable boost control. It wasn’t long before the businesses fame spread and exports started into other markets. In 2003, only after a short presence of exports to the US market, Turbosmart won Best Performance Product Runner-Up at SEMA.
In 2007 the business expanded operations, establishing a North American office to handle US expansion. Over that time Turbosmart USA has taken on the race and aftermarket industry as one of the most reptuable brands, extending the Turbosmart presence as one of the most trusted in the market. In 2014 Turbosmart continued to expand its dominance in boost control by implementing a European office in the UK. Although the business was warned about a lack of market success for new competitors, the business forged ahead and is now widely accepted as one of the best in the market for motoring enthusiasts across the Euro market.
In 2015, Turbosmart outgrew its 6,500ft2 manufacturing plant, and the business moved to a brand new 27,000ft2 facility in the west of Sydney, Australia to help handle the growing market demand. As of 2018 Turbosmart exports to over 50 countries around the globe and continues to build up the accolades of industry awards from various associations, including taking a massive 6 Awards at SEMA 2018 for their revolutionary Gen-V Wastegate range.
